[SINGAPORE] It will be a two party fight for Potong Pasir as an independent candidate pulls out.

What was expected to be a three way-fight for Potong Pasir turned into a one on one match-up as independent candidate Tan Lam Siong pulled out.

There were no surprises as the People's Action Party's Sitoh Yih Pin and Lina Chiam of the Singapore People's Party's submitted their nomination papers at Kong Hwa School on Nomination Day.

Opposition veteran Chiam See Tong was also present to support his wife Mrs Chiam.

Meanwhile, independent Zeng Guoyan also showed up but decided not to contest, saying he would leave it to the two candidates.
