Singapore leaders express condolences on the death of Thailand's King Bhumibol
[SINGAPORE] President Tony Tan Keng Yam, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan have sent condolence letters to their Thai counterparts over the death of King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
President Tan wrote in his letter to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit: "His Majesty King Bhumibol was truly remarkable and had, throughout his long reign, worked tirelessly for the people of Thailand. The numerous projects launched by His Majesty King Bhumibol brought deep and far-reaching benefits to all corners of the Kingdom."
