Singapore Q3 wholesale trade down 26%

DRAGGED down by lower petroleum prices and sluggish economic activity, Singapore's domestic wholesale trade contracted sharply by 26 per cent in the third quarter of 2015, compared to a year ago.
Excluding petroleum, however, the drop was less severe, 12.1 per cent, said the Department of Statistics Singapore (DOS) on Friday.
