Singapore to release advance GDP data on Jan 2

[SINGAPORE] Singapore will provide advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter and for the year at 8am (0000 GMT) on Jan 2, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Friday.
A quarterly survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) earlier this month showed that economists expect GDP to expand by 2.3 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the fourth quarter. Full-year growth for 2014 is expected to be 3.0 per cent.
