IT is unlikely that Singapore will host larger-scale multi-sport events such as the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games anytime soon, Culture, Community and Youth Minister Lawrence Wong said on Friday.
Fresh off a successful SEA Games which ended on Tuesday, the country does not, however, have enough space or infrastructure to accommodate the demands of either of the two quadrennial events, he said.
