Singaporean legal officer in 1MDB probe faces deportation
[PETALING JAYA] A Singaporean legal officer involved in the probe into state investor 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), whose services were terminated by the Attorney-General's Chambers last week, is now faced with a deportation order.
Jessica Gurmeet Kaur had her permanent residence status revoked and officers, presumably from the immigration department, were on Thursday looking to serve the deportation order on her, The Star Online reported. She was, however, not at home.
