[SEOUL] South Korean exports fell sharply for the first 20 days of this month from the same period a year ago, customs data showed on Wednesday, in a rocky start to the year for Asia's fourth-largest economy.
Exports during the Jan. 1-20 period dropped 9.0 per cent to US$24.671 billion on-year while imports slumped 10.6 per cent to US$25.940 billion, Customs Korea data showed.
