South Korea revised Q1 GDP growth up 0.5% quarter on quarter, better than estimates
[SEOUL] South Korea's economy grew a seasonally adjusted 0.5 per cent in the first quarter over the previous three months, revised central bank data showed on Thursday, slightly above an earlier estimate of 0.4 per cent growth.
From a year earlier, Asia's fourth-largest economy expanded by 2.8 per cent in the January-March period, the Bank of Korea data showed, also marginally better than a 2.7 per cent rise estimated in April by the bank.
