S'pore firms face fragile export demand in coming months
Nikkei Dec PMI shows 7th month of positive business conditions but costs are rising, and new orders stagnating

THE private sector closed 2015 on a slightly positive note, with business conditions remaining largely healthy last year.
A fragile economic climate, however, awaits firms as they face weakening export demand in the coming months, data from the latest Nikkei Singapore Purchasing Managers' Index show.
