SPRING Singapore is shifting its focus towards helping companies drive topline growth with innovation as a key thrust, said the agency on Friday, maintaining that the focus is on willing and able SMEs.
At its briefing on Friday, Spring said that 2015 saw it support more than twice the number of enterprises it supported in 2014. The more than 20,000 enterprises supported embarked on 22,000 projects last year. When fully implemented, these projects are expected to create 19,500 new jobs over a period of two to three years, and contribute S$6.9 billion value-add to the economy.
