SWISS authorities opened criminal proceedings against Joseph "Sepp" Blatter, the president of soccer's governing body, after searching his office and seizing data.
Mr Blatter, who's led the Zurich-based Fifa for 17 years, is accused of criminal mismanagement and misappropriation, the Swiss attorney general said on Friday. The probe was announced an hour after Mr Blatter cancelled a press conference.
