[TAIPEI] Taiwan's economy grew 3.17 per cent year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2014, preliminary figures from the statistics agency showed on Friday, bringing full year growth to 3.51 per cent, the fastest in three years.

The rise in gross domestic product for the three months ended December was mostly in line with the 3.1 per cent forecast in a Reuters poll, and higher than the government's estimate for 2.83 per cent.
