Free trade agreement, which has been ratified by Turkey and can go into effect this year, paves way for boom in bilateral trade between the two countries

TURKEY'S Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has hailed the Turkey-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (TSFTA), which was ratified by the Turkish parliament on Aug 16, suggesting that it could lead to a boom in bilateral trade between the two countries.
During a media interview on Sunday - the first day of his three-day visit to Singapore - Mr Yildirim said the TSFTA is "more special" than any other free trade agreement which Turkey has signed because its coverage is much wider.
