IN another boost for the Green Climate Fund (GCF), Japan on Sunday announced it will contribute up to US$1.5 billion to the United Nations- backed fund.
The move came a day after US President Barack Obama unveiled a US$3 billion pledge to the same fund, aimed at mitigating the impact of global warming on poor countries.
