US under Biden 'could have more constructive ties with China'
Singapore
THE hope is that United States President-elect Joe Biden will be able to build a better relationship with China, though domestic politics may constrain what is possible there, as well as in trade, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Bloomberg 2020 New Economy Forum.
In an interview with Bloomberg News editor-in-chief John Micklethwait, Mr Lee said he hoped Mr Biden would be able to focus "on developing a framework for an overall constructive relationship with China".
