US unemployment falls to 5.8% in October

[WASHINGTON] The US unemployment rate fell slightly to 5.8 per cent in October despite a decline in the number of jobs created in the month, Labour Department data showed on Friday.
The economy churned out a modest 214,000 net new jobs, less than the 235,000 expected.
