Question: What are your overall thoughts about Rolex's longstanding support of golf?

Answer: It is truly incredible. Rolex is such a powerful name all over the world, not just in the game of golf, and they have been a wonderful ambassador for the sport and will continue to be for years to come.

Q: Can you tell us about your relationship with Rolex? How it came about? When? And what does it mean to you?

A: My relationship with Rolex started when I was on the Web.com Tour (now the Korn Ferry Tour) in 2013. I had lunch with Rolex representatives and we had a great time getting to know each other and sharing stories back and forth. Since then I have had a tremendous relationship with them more so as friends than a business relationship.

Q: What are the Rolex qualities that you most admire - what does Rolex stand for in your mind?

A: Excellence is what always comes to my mind. They have the best Testimonees across the globe in a number of sports and professions. Every time I say Rolex is one of my sponsors, it's always an overwhelming response from the person I'm telling. That speaks for itself.

Q: Which Rolex watches do you have and do you have any stories about them?

A: I have a Datejust, which was the watch I was wearing when I won my first tournament, a Cosmograph Daytona, a Sky-Dweller, a Sea-Dweller, which was a gift for winning the US PGA Championship, two Yacht-Masters, and a GMT-Master II in Everose gold that I bought myself when I became No. 1 in the world - that watch has a special meaning to me.

Q: How did you first come to play golf?

A: My dad is a golf pro and growing up around him I was always around a golf course. We would go play all the time and I would chase my ball around while he played and that somehow turned into a love for the game I still have.

Q: Who have you taken inspiration from throughout your golfing career?

A: Tiger Woods was and still is a serious role model for me. I grew up watching him in his prime and dominating people. Something about that made me want to play more and win as many tournaments as possible.

Q: You get to travel a great deal as a professional golfer. Where do you like to travel to the most and why?

A: I always love being at places on or near the water. Places like Hawaii or Pebble Beach always make the bogeys a little easier when you can look up and see the ocean!

Q: How do you like to relax and spend time away from the golf course?

A: I love to just relax and do nothing. Sitting at my house and unwinding is just as enjoyable to me as anything. I love to work out when I'm home too, so a good balance of getting rest and getting my body feeling good is something I do a lot when I'm at home.

Q: You are renowned for having published your yearly goals in the past couple of years. What are your goals for the future, off the course?

A: Off the course I want to be a great ambassador for the game and somebody whom kids and people look up to. My main goal is to have a foundation that impacts as many kids as possible. It is something I take very seriously and being able to give back means just as much as winning tournaments at times. Down the road I hope to have a building, structure or park, for the foundation - that would be awesome.

Q: You have achieved so much in a relatively short space of time with your career, what do you consider to be your personal highlights so far?

A: Playing on the Ryder Cup was incredible, but winning the US PGA Championship and having my dad (and other family members) there was very special. I will never forget coming off that green and giving my pops a big hug. It was awesome.

Q: How do you value your relationships with fellow Rolex Testimonees Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler?

A: I value them more than they probably know. They're two of my best friends and would do anything for them, and I respect them for what they do for the game as much as anything.
