Better business performance with be initiative
Enhancing management practices and value systems can put firms on the path to industry-beating profit growth
THE Business Excellence (BE) initiative is about enhancing management practices and value systems for superior results. Good management practices are key to better business performance. Organisations that are on the BE journey enjoy profit growth that are 2-4 times that of the industry average based on an impact study conducted by the National University of Singapore Business School and commissioned by Spring Singapore this year.
BE provides a comprehensive approach for organisations to assess their strategies and approaches against evolving trends and customer needs, and align people and processes to deliver on their mission.
This is done through an assessment of the organisation's management approaches and its performance against the BE framework, which is internationally benchmarked with similar frameworks used in the US, Europe, Japan and Australia. The assessment provides a diagnosis of the organisation's strengths and opportunities for improvement, and paves a roadmap for sustainable growth.
