Big demand for 2.5b yuan China Eastern bond issue
Chaori default has no impact as offshore issuers have good credit profiles: DBS

DESPITE China's first bond default and yuan volatility, demand was strong for China Eastern Airlines' 2.5 billion yuan (S$516.6 million) bond sale yesterday.
The three-year bonds priced at 4.8 per cent received 4.3 billion yuan of orders, said DBS Bank, one of the book runners.
