1987

Launch of Y-WMSTM, YCH's first version of a 3PL warehouse management system (WMS). This system differentiated YCH from its competitors, which relied on software packages. The company has since integrated the system into its automated warehouse, which uses intelligent robots and cranes as part of an automated storage and retrieval system.

1996

Launch of first version of YCH's vendor-managed inventory (VMI) solution - Intribution® - for Compaq in Asia-Pacific. This was the first successful commercial implementation of VMI for Compaq worldwide and in Asia-Pacific.

1997

Completion of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) facility for the Tuas DistriPark. YCH is one of the first local companies to implement and incorporate the ASRS system into the operations.

2001

Launch of first version of YCH's order fulfilment and distribution solution - Intrabution® - for Roche Diagnostic. By 2003, YCH had extended Intrabution with auto-replenishment allocation software to support an order-fulfilment system for PT Frisian Flag Indonesia (Indonesia's market leader in the dairy industry).

2004

Launch of YCH's virtual hub (V-HubTM) solution for Motorola's global inventory management project. The solution optimises inventory control and management, thereby improving Motorola's agility in responding to market changes.

2005

In collaboration with Oracle, YCH launched the world's first successful implementation of radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology for liquid products in bonded warehouses.

2009

Launch of City Supply ChainTM solution in partnership with the Chengdu government. The solution enables express door-to-door distribution to shorten lead times, increase the efficiency of last mile deliveries and optimises city distribution.

2013

Launch of the TLMTM solution for Royal FrieslandCampina Indonesia. Using cutting-edge routing analytics technology, "on-the-road" data is captured in real time and examined to ensure predictability, reliability and the safe delivery of goods.

2016

Opening of Supply Chain CityTM, YCH Group's newest Asia Pacific HQ and state-of-the-art warehousing facility. Supply Chain CityTM features the best-in-class solutions in the supply chain industry, culminating in the usage of automation and robotics to improve the efficiency of the whole operational process.
