FIFTY years on, BP Singapore (BPS) - which struck its roots here as an oil-refining and marketing company in 1964 - has evolved into a knowledge and trading hub in Asia-Pacific for the oil major.
"It has been a fascinating journey for BP as we have evolved from refining and retail operations to a leading commodities trader and knowledge centre for our businesses across Asia," Terence Yuen, BPS' country president, said in his message in a staff publication commemorating its 50th anniversary tomorrow
