THE truth is there is no single reason - it is a combination of various causes, from cultural norms and access to education, to organisational rules such as low paternity leave, and self-inflicted expectations. If left unaddressed, we're going to see lower numbers of women in the talent pipeline. But it's not all doom and gloom - the number of women leaders in the ad industry is proof that women are gaining ground, and a lot of this starts with culture.
