Championing sustainability

AS sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration for businesses around the world, more organisations are looking to integrate socially responsible activities into their core operations.

To encourage such efforts among Singapore enterprises, the Singapore Apex CSR Awards 2015 was established to honour local companies that exhibit the highest level of corporate social responsibility (CSR) excellence in Singapore, and provide a benchmark for other companies aspiring to better sustainability practices. The criteria and rigorous assessment methodology of the awards also provide such companies with an opportunity to tell their value-creation stories.

The new national award is organised by Global Compact Network Singapore, previously Singapore Compact for Corporate Social Responsibility, with its co-presenting partners the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and The Business Times.
