[SINGAPORE] After months spent presenting its arguments, evidence and witnesses before the court, the prosecution has concluded its case against six City Harvest Church (CHC) members accused of criminal breach of trust and/or falsification of accounts.

The prosecution, led by Chief Prosecutor Mavis Chionh, finished with its final witness, Foong Ai Fang - the audit engagement partner for CHC during the relevant time - yesterday.

The Business Times understands that the defence counsel now intend to make a submission of "no case to answer", instead of opening their case and calling their witnesses.
