AS one of the world's leading brewers, Dutch group Heineken has made it a priority to ensure that its products are made and consumed in a responsible manner.
To meet this goal, the company launched in 2010 an initiative known as Brewing a Better Future, which sets out its long-term approach to sustainability. In 2014, the name was changed to Brewing a Better World, to better reflect that the work Heineken is doing is having an impact today, not just in the future.
Under this framework, Heineken aims to embed and integrate sustainability within the organisation, creating real sustainable value for all stakeholders and enabling the company to achieve its other business objectives.
