Over the last 20 years, golfing in Asia has grown at a tremendous rate, with China making up a fair proportion of the game's growth. Of the almost 400 courses in the country, 37 can be found in Hainan Island, China's smallest and southern most province, which is largely a result of efforts to develop the island as a tourist destination.
