Gashub Tech's fuel cell generators have zero carbon emissions as the only by-product is water
FOR organisations that use on-site or backup power, battery and diesel generators have traditionally been the power source of choice. But companies such as homegrown Gashub Technology have developed alternatives that are friendlier to the environment.
Gashub Technology was set up in 2001 to develop and commercialise a line of fuel cell products. Fuel cell is a device that converts air and hydrogen gas into electricity through chemical reaction.
"We are considered as the pioneer in the fuel cell industry in Singapore. Over the past 13 years, Gashub has formed an in-house R&D team, and partnered with institutes and market players to develop and commercialise the technology," said a company spokesman.
