Exec jet industry sees robust uptick over next decade
[SINGAPORE] The jetset class is set to grow over the next decade, according to latest estimates coming out of the executive jet industry. Embraer Executive Jets expects the industry to see 9,250 executive jets worth US$250 billion joining the global fleet over the next 10 years, it said at the Singapore Airshow yesterday.
This is set to be an improvement over the past decade for the industry, which saw the addition of 8,100 jets worth US$168 billion.
This growth will take place against a backdrop of moderate global economic growth and the threat of a slowdown in emerging countries.
