Firms get extra S$10m boost from Spring
Funds to help them develop, adopt new standards
[SINGAPORE] Spring Singapore has set aside another S$10 million to help companies develop and adopt new standards and to set up standards-development organisations that will focus on new sectors.
The injection of funds comes on top of the S$20 million tranche set aside in 2011.
In line with the push for the adoption of standards, the three-month-old Manufacturing Standards Committee will spearhead the development of new standards in support of the adoption of emerging manufacturing technologies and processes in Singapore.
