Foodpanda gets US$60m in fresh funding

[SINGAPORE] Global food delivery platform Foodpanda, along with its affiliated brands hellofood and Delivery Club, announced a fresh financing of US$60 million, bringing its total funds raised to over US$100 million since its inception in 2012. It previously secured US$28 million in funding in 2013
and US$20 million early this year. This round of funding came from a group of investors including existing investors such as Rocket Internet - Foodpanda's parent incubator firm.
Speaking with regards to the new round of funding, Ralf Wenzel, global managing director of Foodpanda, said: "We are very pleased by the sign of confidence and the acknowledgment of our current success."
