Global appetite for M&A still strong: KPMG
Corporates are also paying down debts, giving them more cash to fund deals
[SINGAPORE] The appetite of the world's largest companies for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is expected to remain strong in the next six months - though, this is still not translating into deal completions.
Such was the forecast made by KPMG's M&A Predictor - a forward-looking tool that helps member-firm clients forecast worldwide trends in M&A.
The indicator looks at the appetite and capacity for M&A deals by tracking and projecting certain indicators 12 months forward.
