The "haze" tops the list. It can only be solved politically and vigorous efforts are being made to achieve that. We should have been assertively converting to fully electric vehicles for several years. Our apparently increasing temperature is tiresome in a city of tall buildings. We fail to use the surfaces that could capture the sun's rays for conversion to power for better air-conditioning because solar panels have not been subsidised. This is where early subsidy can kickstart a desirable movement. We should similarly use all available surfaces for growing greenery to help balance pollution. A canopied island would solve all these problems.
