I WOULD personally prefer an ultra-long haul no-stop flight if it meant saving a couple of hours of transit or stopover. I will be quite content staying on a plane for 17-20 hours as I can use that time to watch several movies on the in-flight entertainment system, read a good book and catch up on work.
