Hotel creates a hit brand by being eco-friendly

A man with superhuman speed dodges blows and lashes out with furious kicks and punches, leaving a trail of smashed tables and chairs at the hotel where this carnage takes place.

You wouldn't think any hotel would be too pleased with this destruction, but for PARKROYAL on Pickering, the damage enhanced rather than hurt the property's reputation because it occurred on the set of the blockbuster movie Hitman, Agent 47 which was filmed in Singapore.

Starring Rupert Friend, the German-American action thriller, based on a popular video game series, is about superhuman assassins causing mayhem and havoc. PARKROYAL on Pickering, which opened in 2013, was featured prominently in the film that also showcases Singapore icons such as its taxis, Shenton Way and Gardens by the Bay.
