[SINGAPORE] The Indian High Commission in Singapore is willing to work with the government in any way possible to better educate the workers from the country on Singapore and culturally assimilate them.
The Sunday riot at Little India has thrown up the question of the various roles that stakeholders could play to prevent such an incident again.
Speaking to The Business Times yesterday, Vijay Thakur Singh, the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, said that she is open to working with the various partners, including the Ministry of Manpower and the employers, on culturally assimilating the workers here.
