SINCE setting up shop here in 1975, Swire Pacific Offshore Operations (SPO) has grown in tandem with Singapore's maritime sector, both contributing to and benefiting from its development.
With a network that spans the globe, the Singapore-headquartered group is a service provider to the offshore oil and gas as well as renewables industries. Over the past four decades, it has expanded beyond conventional anchor-handling and platform supply operations to include a wide range of marine services including salvage, seismic survey, oil spill response, wind farm installation, decommissioning and subsea support.
SPO's fleet comprises 91 vessels, with nine more in the works. Of these, more than two-thirds are Singapore flagged.
