[SINGAPORE] Singapore companies with operations in Kunming, south-west China, said their operations have remained largely unscathed, amid heightened security following a series of brutal knife attacks which killed 33 people and injured around 130.

Firms The Business Times spoke to said they have not felt a significant impact from the incident that took place over the weekend but continue to closely monitor the situation.

A group of attackers, dressed in black, burst into Kunming railway station in the capital of Yunnan province over the weekend and started stabbing people at random.
