Major maritime event will cover a wide range of topics
Discussions will cover issues ranging from falling oil prices to new cargo generators.
SEA Asia, one of the region's largest maritime conferences and a leading forum for analysis and debate on the challenges and opportunities facing the maritime sector opens today at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, and runs till Thursday as part of Singapore Maritime Week. Sea Asia 2015, the fifth edition of the event co-organised by Seatrade and the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF), is set to host more than 14,000 participants from over 60 countries this week, up from 13,000 participants in the last edition in 2013.
Since the inaugural event in 2007, Sea Asia has grown from strength to strength, achieving an 88 per cent increase in attendance.
In addition, the exhibition will be 30 per cent larger in terms of gross exhibition space covering more than 22,000 sq m. Over 400 exhibitors from more than 30 countries representing diverse sectors of the maritime and offshore industries will exhibit at the event.
