[SINGAPORE] From Jan 1 next year, some public service officers will be forced to take on different jobs or made to go on block leave for a number of days.
Those affected may include those whose core responsibilities are related to finance or procurement, or who are in regulatory roles with a high risk of being suborned and exploited if they remained in the same job for too long, said the Public Service Division (PSD) yesterday.
Depending on the nature of their work, these officers will be subject to either one or both of the measures, it added.
