MICROSOFT'S New World of Work Initiative, which lets staff work in the way that they find most productive, is starting to show the desired results in its Singapore office.

Launched here about three years ago, the New World of Work has improved the productivity of 54 per cent its employees, a recent internal survey in the company shows. Nearly half - 49 per cent - of the staff polled reported that they team up more with colleagues to work on projects, and 77 per cent of the employees found the working environment better.

This must have contributed to the giant software developer winning the Aon Hewitt Best Employer award for a second time.
