Offering an Asian perspective on investment
Homegrown Fullerton Fund Management has built its reputation alongside the growth of Singapore
FULLERTON Fund Management has grown in tandem with Singapore's financial sector, having helped its clients invest in Asia for over 20 years. "Singapore is recognised as a leading financial centre and, increasingly, a global hub for asset management. As a successful homegrown institutional investor focused on investing in Asia and the emerging markets, Fullerton has a part to play in continuing to develop our industry," says Manraj S Sekhon, its chief executive and chief investment officer.
"We also have a role in facilitating the allocation and flows of capital in Singapore and around the region, by providing funding to deserving companies. Through these contributions, we help in the advancement of Singapore as a financial centre."
Fullerton's roots are deeply embedded in Singapore. It started as the internal fund management division of Temasek Holdings, before being spun out as an independent asset manager in 2003. "We are born from and reflect the values that are core to Singapore - stability and continuity, governance, rule of law, and most importantly, trust," says Mr Sekhon, who joined Fullerton Fund Management in 2011. "Fullerton as a business has built its credibility alongside the growth of Singapore and Asia."
