PM Lee, China Vice-Premier discuss project proposal

CHINA's proposal for a third government-to-government project in the country's western region was discussed on Monday when Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and China's Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli met.
The two leaders are here, the capital of Guangxi, the autonomous region in southern China, for the 11th China-Asean Expo which opens Tuesday . And Singapore is the Country of Honour in the annual expo this year.
Mr Lee's press secretary, Chang Li Lin, said in a brief statement that it was a "warm" meeting where both leaders "reaffirm the excellent bilateral relationship between the two countries" exemplified by the close cooperation in the government-to-government Suzhou Industrial Park and Tianjin Eco-City as well as the Sino-China Guangzhou Knowledge City.
