AS the agency tasked to enhance Singapore's position as one of the world's leading hub ports, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has made it a priority to promote sustainability within the maritime community here.
This mission has become even more critical as the international regulatory framework moves towards the promotion of a sustainable global maritime transport system.
"It is important that the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore takes the lead in promoting good practices within the maritime community that will enhance our position as a safe, efficient and sustainable global hub port," says Yvonne Chan, MPA's chief financial officer.
