Qatar Airways to increase flights to Singapore

[SINGAPORE] Qatar Airways, which currently has orders for more than 280 new aircraft, may boost frequencies to Singapore as it scales up its network.

"As we grow the route network, we will also grow frequencies into our important destinations," said Akbar Al Baker, CEO of Qatar Airways. "Singapore is a very important destination for us," he added.

He was speaking to BT yesterday onboard its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which was on static display at the Singapore Airshow.
