BUSINESS leaders from Singapore and the region have wrapped up their three-day meeting in Bali and are all set to meet with leaders of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) forum on Monday.
This is an annual dialogue session where the Apec Business Advisory Council (Abac) - a private sector body - gets to submit to the leaders its recommendations on how to improve the business and investment environment in the Asia-Pacific region.
"There is a lot of volatility in the global market, and this is not good for businesses because it brings a lot of uncertainty," said Singapore Business Federation (SBF) chief executive Ho Meng Kit, one of the two Singaporean Abac members who are in Bali for the meeting.
