SILKAIR, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines, had its brand-new Boeing 737-800 aircraft on display yesterday at the Singapore Airshow. This plane is the first of 54 Boeing 737s - made up of 23 737-800s and 31 of the newer 737-Maxs - marking the start of SilkAir's transition to an all-Boeing fleet.
The 162-seat aircraft, which will be deployed on its Singapore-Kuala Lumpur route starting Feb 20, has been dressed in a special 25th anniversary livery to commemorate the occasion taking place this month.
