[SINGAPORE] This Sunday, eight SingHealth representatives will do their part for organ and tissue donation awareness on public roads instead of hospital corridors. Starting at 6.15am at the F1 pit building, they will cycle 39km in The Business Times Charity Challenge, a part of OCBC Cycle Singapore.
Terence Kee, director of the Transplant Centre at SingHealth's Singapore General Hospital (SGH), explains why they signed up:
"OCBC Cycle is the biggest cycling event in Singapore, with over 10,000 cyclists hitting the road during the weekend. I find it a golden opportunity for us to participate in our favourite sport and at the same time to spread the good news about organ and tissue donation and transplantation."
