THE offshore and marine sector may generally be going through a rough patch now but for Rotating Offshore Solutions (ROS), a strategy mix of diversification, taking on new projects and keeping costs low offers continued optimism.

Set up in Singapore in 2004, ROS Engineering began by offering front-end engineering design (FEED), cost reduction analysis, and project management design and solutions as well as providing the oil & gas industry with hardware for its operations. However, ROS has since taken on floating production storage & offloading (FPSO) engineering projects.

In the offshore industry, FPSO units are floating vessels which receive, process and temporarily store oil & gas. The product is then offloaded onto a tanker or pipeline.
