[SINGAPORE] Thai businesses are bracing themselves for possible major disruptions to their operations from next Monday.
Jan 13 is the day thousands of anti-government protesters plan to occupy the streets of Bangkok as they ramp up efforts to oust caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra from power.
Yesterday, Thai Airways said it would close its headquarters and one of its other branches in the capital on Monday. The national carrier has also made accommodation arrangements for its employees who cannot get home due to the city shutdown.
