The SG50 Outstanding Chinese Business Pioneers Awards celebrate individuals who have contributed to Singapore's development.
WHETHER it's building luxury hotels or making the finest chocolates, many Chinese business pioneers were instrumental in Singapore's post-independence years, contributing to the nation's economic, social and cultural development.
As Singapore celebrates its 50th year of independence, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) has unveiled the winners of the SG50 Outstanding Chinese Business Pioneers Awards, an initiative that recognises the remarkable spirit and achievements of a select group of business people.
The SCCCI is the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore, with a membership network of 151 trade associations and 4,000 corporate entities. Together, they provide the business community with vast resources and an influential global Chinese business network for business, culture and education.
